The Juggle Is Real

Balancing It All

Working, parenting, traveling, studying — sometimes all in the same week. This is where I write honestly about the beautiful chaos of trying to do it all without losing your mind (or your sense of humor).

Real Talk

It’s not a balancing act. It’s a constant negotiation.

Nobody warns you that ‘balance’ is a moving target. Some weeks work wins. Some weeks family wins. Some weeks nobody wins and you eat cereal for dinner and call it a victory. I write about all of it — the wins, the meltdowns, the creative workarounds that somehow hold everything together.

If you’re also in the weeds — juggling a career, raising kids, chasing a dream or two — you’re in the right place.

Life, unfiltered

Work & Life

The grind, the pivots, the moments where work, school and motherhood crash into each other — and how I navigate it all while staying sane(ish).

Family Chaos

Three kids, a husband, a dog, three bunnies, and 15 chickens. Our life is never quiet and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Budget Adventures

Big dreams on a real budget. We stretch every dollar and still find ways to make memories worth writing about.

Tiny Tweaks, Big Impact

Balancing the after-school juggle (ages 7–14)

01

Ruthlessly protect one night a week

No activities, no commitments, no screens-as-babysitter. One night where everyone is just home together. Tweens will resist it. It will become their favorite thing.

02

Let them fail a small thing

Forgot their homework? Let the natural consequence happen. Kids 7–14 need to learn that you won’t always catch it — and that they survive when you don’t.

03

Stop narrating, start asking

Less “here’s what you should do” and more “what do you think you should do?” They’re old enough. Practice now so they don’t need you to solve everything at 25.

04

You can’t pour from an empty cup — and they know it

When you’re running on fumes, they feel it. Protecting your own rest isn’t selfish. It’s how you show up as the parent they actually need.
